Ben and I LOVE watching American Idol.
We usually only watch up until they get to the top 20 or so. Our favorite part is the auditions. We frequently wonder why those parents lie to their kids about how well they can sing.
And now I know! It's because before they actually sing, they put their shoes on all by themselves, put on a hat, strap on a guitar, and give you a loving grin... your already in love. So when the show actually starts, the out of tune guitar and squeaky voice sound don't matter, it was wonderful!
