Preschool

Miles' 3 year old preschool class had class at the park last week. The rain was threatening, but held off so they could enjoy their day. At the end of the school day there was a group photo attempt. Not too bad!!

Oh James!

Okay, I picked the clothes, but did not intend the socks to be pulled up so high, and James INSISTED on the hat. Then with that goofy front tooth peeking out, Ben and I decided he looks like an early 90's rapper...

Picnic at the Park

A couple of weeks ago, on an incredibly beautiful day, we meet Grandpa Bob and Grandma Louise for a picnic. We meet at an outdoor train museum, End of the Line, in Curry, MN. The boys, especially Miles, had a great time climbing on the trains. After that we went to Shetek State Park. Miles thought the fish wanted some rocks and sticks, so he spent quite a bit of time giving.
Here the guys were "driving" the train.

Miles was a little scared being up to high on the engine!

But was just fine with the bison. James on the other hand was afraid of these statues and would not get near them.

There was a great climbing tree, but Miles was a little nervous, so I just stuck him up there a snapped this one!

ADDICT!

So, I'll start on a good note!
I finished my bow tucks tote... minus the ties. And a quick shot of the inside. So exciting to finish something.

And then I became an addict! Seriously!
I may need therapy!

I have plans for these two lovelies!
I found a vintage bag pattern at a fabric store in Brainerd. Should be super easy!

A kit for a pattern by Mary Wilberg, "Just Showing Off".

Some Moda Wonderland by Momo fabric!

Another cute kit from Quilted Treasures!

And some heavenly fabric from Anna Maria Horner! I'm having trouble with these! I just want to look at them... too scared to actually use it!
And if that isn't enough I have one other SECRET project.
Soooo, I am not allowing myself to purchase anymore fabric until I have completed at least 3 projects!
